Day-by-Day Itinerary
Touch down at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. As you step out, the crisp mountain air and stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas will welcome you. Because Leh sits at a high altitude (11,500 ft), today is strictly reserved for rest and acclimatization. Take it easy at your hotel, drink plenty of fluids, and let your body adjust. In the late afternoon, take a gentle, short walk to the base of the majestic Leh Palace to stretch your legs.
